Second Challenge - The Fight for Air Climb - Cleveland Terminal Tower

The support of this climb helps the American Lung Association in the Flight for Air.
We are climbing for those who can't quit smoking and those who shouldn't start.
We are climbing for lungs that burn from exercise rather than from ozone.
We are climbing for laws that improve the air quality both inside and out
WE DID IT! 802 Steps individually or 1604 total steps!
It was a hard climb for me and really showed me how out of shape I have become. I had a really hard time breathing and had to use my rescue inhaler 3 times. Physically after the event I was OK but mentally and breathing took a day to recover. I am so glad we completed this challenge because it showed me my limitations but it also showed me that I didn't give up and I made it up the steps even though I had to stop every 4 or so flights to catch my breath. I hate the photos of me showing all my fat rolls and chin fat. Thank goodness for my son Sean being there with me for this challenge he stayed with me the whole way up the stairs and was my cheerleader when I was feeling like I couldn't make it all the way up. He never let me down, he wanted me to achieve this goal, and he is my greatest accomplishment in my life!
