What are your EXCUSES?

Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty…

I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.
Theodore Roosevelt

What are your excuses that hold you back?
  • I don't have time
  • I'm feeling tired
  • I've had a hard day at work
  • I have to take/pick up my son to Boy Scouts, Soccer, School
  • I have to make dinner
  • I have to do the laundry
  • I have to clean the house
  • I have to grocery shop
  • I have to take care of my mom
  • I lack motivation
  • I'm lazy
  • It's dark outside
  • I don't want to go alone
  • It's too hot
  • It's too cold
  • I'm afraid I can't do it, can't keep up the pace, can't run a full mile without stopping
  • What if I look stupid running
  • What if I have an asthma attack
  • My thighs rub together
  • I don't want to lose a toe nail
  • I'm afraid I will let myself down
  • I'm afraid to push myself, I don't want to get hurt
(Notice I left room for more excuses)

My Goal is:
When you find yourself thinking limiting thoughts, confront them and turn them into positives. Get to know your body so that you, too, will be able to tell the difference between being tired from the exercise you're doing and being tired because something is actually wrong with your body.
